The hotel was an amazing base for enjoying a very quiet area. Really close to the amazing wineries located along the Douro River.- Beautiful garden.- Great and awesome location - just walking distance from everywhere we needed.

We had a very warm welcome, and were very pleased with the immediate surroundings. We had a very pretty cottage to ourselves, set in beautiful grounds, and very quiet and peaceful despite the proximity of a busy road. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend Casa Agricola da Levada.

Everything was good, quirky hotel, the location was particularly good right by great restaurants, Casa Agricola da Levada, and the center of beautiful Vila Real and Mateus Palace.

The hotel is close to a lush, green garden. the guest room I booked online had a terrace with a nice view and an extra comfy bed. - I loved the sensational breakfast served at Alice cottage in the natural park.

We stayed in the small houses that are scattered around the property. The small houses are charming and recently renovated. The location inside the property givesw the impression that you are in a small village in the mountains. However you are only 2 km away from the center of Vila Real! Children will like the open spaces around the houses. It is possible to walk around the property. Excellent location! Although booking does not refer the breakfast, the reality is that we have a breakfast pach inside the house and everyday in the morning fresh bread is delivered to every guest. Finally, friendship of everybody working in Casa Agricola da Levada is also a plus! We liked it very much.

The road leading to the houses is not very well preserved and you should expect a few bumps. It is not very convenient if you have a sports car! However you may think of it as another different experience!

We were warmly welcomed by the owner and shown to our room, which was very comfortable. The local restauran, was only a 5minute walk, torch provided by owner, the food was excellent. House of Mateus was ony a short drive away and well worth visiting.

The location was great, near the national park, vineyards, and the Douro Valley. Good parking available.- Nice swimming pool.- Close to Mateus Palace and the amazing wineries along the Douro River.- Only a 10-minute drive from Praia Fluvial de Codessais.- Enjoyed a breakfast spread of butter, fresh bread slices, cereals, jam, and fruit.

A great stay. We stayed in the cabin which was large, clean and very comfortable with lots of light. The location was outside of town in a suburban area and the property is large which has a rustic feel to it. Not a location with shops and restaurants to walk to. The grounds are clean and well kept up. There is a good sized playground which is great for kids. The best part was the owner who was extremely friendly and went out of her way to help us and offer great advice on places to go.

It's the perfect location for hiking in the Alvao National Park and exploring the Douro Valley. the rooms are cozy, and the staff are friendly and helpful. the breakfast is delicious, and the fresh baked bread delivered to your door is a nice touch.
